First Graduating Class of the Peter A. Allard School of Law

On May 25th the Class of 2016 became the first to receive degree certificates from the newly renamed Peter A. Allard School of Law. Mr. Allard’s generous $30 million donation in January of 2015 has enabled the law school to build on its reputation for championing human rights and social justice and has brought unprecedented benefits to students and faculty.

The world-class legal education that the Class of 2016 received at the Allard School of Law has equipped them with the knowledge, skills and grounding in ethics that are essential to leadership. The challenge and promise of the class of 2016 is to build upon the sterling reputation of the law school as it enters a new era. Their conduct and achievements will set the bar for future graduates, and their bright futures as alumni of the Allard School of Law will reflect back upon the school’s identity as it continues to grow and evolve.
