Alumni Association Achievement Awards

On April 27, 2011, the Allard School of Law Alumni Association hosted the 2011 Achievement Awards at the Four Seasons Hotel in Vancouver, BC.

More than 350 alumni, faculty, friends, and family gathered to celebrate the 2011 award recipients.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was given to Morley Koffman, QC for setting a high standard for volunteerism, philanthropy and professional accomplishment. He was recognized as an example for all who follow.

William S. Berardino, QC took home an Alumni Award of Distinction, alongside Elizabeth M. Vogt, QC. These individuals were recognized for their outstanding achievements and endeavors in the practice of law, government service, the judiciary, business, legal academe, community service or other areas have brought honour to the law school.

Katrina Pacey, an alumna under the age of 40, was awarded the Outstanding Young Alumna Award. This award recognizes a young alumna/alumnus whose endeavours in the practice of law, government service, the judiciary, business, legal academe, community service or other areas are worthy of recognition and who have brought honour to the Allard School of Law.

In recognition of his research achievements that have advanced the Faculty’s reputation as a leading research institution Dr. Charles Bourne, Professor Emeritus, was awarded the Alumni Award for Research.
