The Allard School of Law Alumni Association hosted the 2014 Achievement Awards on April 30, 2014 at the Four Seasons in Vancouver, BC. The event celebrated alumni and members of the law school’s legal research community.
Thomas Berger, OC, QC, OBC received the Lifetime Achievement Award. This award recognizes an extraordinary individual who has set a high standard for volunteerism, philanthropy and professional accomplishment, and has been an example for all who follow.
Michael O’Keefe, QC and Anne Stewart, QC were recipients of the Alumni Award of Distinction. This award is given to alumni whose outstanding achievements and endeavors in the practice of law, government service, the judiciary, business, legal academe, community service or other areas have brought honour to the law school.
The Alumni Award for Research was received by Professor David Duff, in recognition of his research achievements that have advanced the Faculty’s reputation as a leading research institution.
