Alain Saint-Onge is a graduate of the JD class of 2014 from the Peter A. Allard School of Law. He currently works as an Associate in the Employment & Labour Group at the Calgary office of Stikeman Elliott LLP (“Stikeman Elliott”). His practice focuses on a diverse range of matters relating to employment and labour law as well as privacy law and human rights. He has ample experience regarding employment contracts, arbitration, employment standards, and the Labour Relations Board.
Prior to attending law school, Saint-Onge obtained an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Guelph in 2011. While at law school he summered at Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP in Vacouver and returned to the firm in 2014 as an articling student. He was called to the BC Bar in 2015 at which point he began working for Farris, Vaughan, Wills & Murphy LLP. In 2017 he was called to the Alberta Bar and transitioned into a new role as a Consultant for Employee and Labour Relations at the University of Calgary. He joined Stikeman Elliott as an Associate in 2018.
