Just a dozen years after hanging out her shingle in Maple Tree Square, Jo-Ann Prowse was appointed to the County Court of Vancouver in December of 1986. Those twelve years have been packed with an extraordinary list of achievements. Judge Prowse was born into a distinguished legal family in Alberta. She was raised in Calgary and graduated from the University of Alberta in Calgary with a B.A. in Philosophy and English.
