Jordanna Cytrynbaum is a Director at Whitelaw Twining Law Corporation (“Whitelaw Twining”) in Vancouver. Her legal practice largely focuses on commercial litigation. At Whitelaw Twining she leads both the Commercial Speciality Group and the Employment Law Specialty Group. Cytrynbaum’s ample litigation experience has brought her before all levels of court as well as administrative tribunals. In addition, Cytrynbaum has extensive experience advising and representing clients through arbitration processes.
Cytrynbaum graduated with the LLB class of 2003 from the law school at UBC. Prior to attending law school, she studied Biology at Bishop’s University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Simon Fraser University in 1999. Cytrynbaum also served as a law clerk at the British Columbia Supreme Court upon graduating from law school. She was called to the BC Bar in 2005.
Cytrynbaum joined McCarthy Tetrault LLP in 2005 as an Associate. She was named Partner at the firm in 2017 before transitioning into her role as Director at Whitelaw Twining.
Apart from her impressive litigation experience, Cytrynbaum has authored an extensive body of works in legal publications. She frequently contributes to Whitelaw Twining’s Commercial Litigation Blog and has presented on a wide range of topics for a variety of legal organizations. Cytrynbaum has also co-authored chapters for both the Annual Review of Law and Practice as well as for the British Columbia Real Estate Practice Manual.
