Nico McKay is an Associate at the Vancouver office of Miller Thomson LLP (“Miller Thomson”). The core focus of his legal practice is litigation and he works closely with both the Commercial Litigation and Insurance Litigation groups at Miller Thomson. McKay’s litigation experience includes appearances before the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and the Civic Resolution Tribunal.
McKay graduated from the Peter A. Allard School of Law with the JD Class of 2018. Prior to attending law school, McKay obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UBC in 2014. He also spent many years working as an estimator in the construction sector before pursuing a career in law. While at law school, McKay completed the Specialization in Aboriginal Law and worked as a summer student at West Coast Environmental Law. He articled at Miller Thomson and was called to the BC Bar in 2019.
McKay is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Vancouver Bar Association, and the Law Society of British Columbia.
